FORT HOOD, Texas — The Army & Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Hood hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 6 for the opening of a new restaurant in the T.J. Mills Road AAFES Food Court – Qdoba Mexican Eats.

This is the first Qdoba Mexican Eats in the Central Texas area and the seventh at an Exchange facility, according to an AAFES press release.

The addition of Qdoba Mexican Eats to Fort Hood’s food court lineup supports the AAFES’s mission to offer the popular, name-brand dining experiences Soldiers and their families demand, the release said.

Additionally, AAFES officials said 100 percent of Exchange earnings are returned to service members and their families in the form of funding for military quality-of-life programs – in 2015, the Exchange returned $3.2 million in earnings to the Fort Hood community.
