FORT HOOD, Texas — Country singer Pat Green will perform free for all military identification card holders at 6:30 p.m. April 27 at Hood Stadium.

In addition, this event will showcase a Kids Zone, which begins at 4 p.m. There also will be food trucks on site and alcohol sales will be available.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert will start at 6:30 p.m.

After rising through Texas’ college-town and dance hall scene years ago, Green earned himself major-label support in Nashville and became the poster child of Texas music for a whole generation of fans.

His list of achievements includes more than 2 million albums sold, three Grammy nominations and a sold out Houston Astrodome.

Green has released six albums in eight years, sending singles like “Wave on Wave” and “Let Me” up the charts. He has toured with Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and others.
