The 120th Infantry Brigade, First Army Division West and Capt. Nirav Patel, 61st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 1st Medical Brigade, 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command are creating a culture that emphasizes a balance between mission readiness and environmental stewardship.

Their efforts to exceed the installation’s standard were recognized at the recent Hood Hero Award Ceremony, as the winner of the Environmental Stewardship Award for a Military Unit and Military Individual.
