    FORT HOOD, Texas - The 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) will host a redeployment ceremony for the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) headquarters 1 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Abrams Physical Fitness Center on Fort Hood.

    More than 200 Soldiers are scheduled to return following a nine-month deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in support of Operations Inherent Resolve, Freedom's Sentinel and Spartan Shield.

    Operation Inherent Resolve is the U.S. military operation name for the military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), including both the campaign in Iraq and the campaign in Syria.

    Operation Freedom's Sentinel refers to operations in Afghanistan by the United States' military forces.

    Operation Spartan Shield refers operations in Kuwait and the surrounding areas.

    Media interested in attending the ceremony should register here no later than 5:00 p.m. Aug. 24. Media will be met by 1st Lt.   • The Soldiers of the 4th Sustainment Brigade are scheduled to host a redeployment ceremony on Friday, June 5, at 6:00 a.m. on Fort Hood.

    Approximately 150 Soldiers from the 4th Sustainment Brigade are returning from a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan where they assumed authority from the 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division late last year in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During the deployment, the brigade stood up Forward Logistical Bases across the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan, executed retrograde and closure of several Forward Operating Bases, and the de-scoping of Enduring Bases as part of their Sustainment operations

    Media interested in attending the ceremony should RSVP with 1st Lt. Barry Stevenson, 310th SC(E) Public Affairs at [email protected] or 731-363-0698 no later than Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 p.m. Media representatives should arrive in the parking lot at the Marvin Leath Visitors Center media parking area on Friday, June 5 by 5:15 a.m. to depart for the ceremony no later than 5:30 a.m.

    The soldiers of the 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion are scheduled to host a redeployment ceremony on Monday, March 30, at 08:30 on west Fort Hood.

    The Soldiers of the 553D CSSB are returning from a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Resolute Support.

    While deployed the 553D CSSB provided vital Logistical Support Operations throughout all Regional Commands and Train, Advise, and Assist Commands within the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan. They also conducted mission preparation, planning, and tracking for over 100 missions throughout Regional Commands South, Southwest, and West, resulting in over 260,000 miles traveled with no significant injury or loss of life

Media representatives should arrive at the West Fort Hood gate on Clarke Road on Monday, March 30 by 08:00 am to depart for the ceremony no later than 08:15.
