FORT HOOD, Texas – The Intrepid Spirit Center and Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic will host its annual open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in observance of National Brain Injury Awareness Month.

This year’s theme, Integrating Arts in Healing Process, sets the stage for attendees to learn more about the programs and services offered through the center. Retired Brig. Gen. Nolen V. Bivens will serve as the guest speaker. Bivens currently serves as the military community advisor for the National Endowment of the Arts Military Healing Arts Creative Forces program.

Several community agencies and organizations will host information booths providing information on services and opportunities within the greater central Texas community. Tours of the facility will also be available.
