FORT HOOD, Texas – The Air Force 3rd Air Support Operations Group commander will inactivate the 11th Air Support Operations Squadron at 3 p.m. June 21 during an inactivation ceremony here at the Sportsmen Pavilion on 53rd Street across from Building 22019.

Col. Aaron L. Ullman, 3rd ASOG commander, and Lt. Col. Frank A. Biancardi II, 11th ASOS commander, will make remarks during the ceremony. Speakers will memorialize the unit’s accomplishments and awards. The 11th ASOS is currently aligned with the 3rd Cavalry Regiment here to provide close air support during combat operations.
