FORT HOOD, Texas – III Corps and Fort Hood will host a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 5 at III Corps Headquarters to celebrate the holiday season here.

Maj. Gen. Kenneth Kamper, III Corps and Fort Hood deputy commanding general, will preside over the ceremony.

Guests will be invited to sing along to traditional holiday songs. Music will be provided by Fort Hood area school children and caroling led by the 1st Cavalry Division Band.

Following the tree lighting, Families will be given the opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa in the east atrium. Food and beverages donated by local businesses will be served in the west atrium.

The tree will be on display until Jan. 6.
