FORT HOOD, Texas - A 5K Remembrance Run/Walk is set for 7-9 a.m. July 1 at Sadowski Field. Each boot represents a service member who has paid the ultimate price defending freedom.

A boot memorial will also be on display July 1-10 at Sadowski Field in front of the III Corps Headquarters building. Each boot is a symbol, which represents a fallen military service member.

The event is free and open to all. No registration is required.  This is a recreational run/walk and a free T-shirt is included while supplies last.
