Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and its primary care clinics will modify operating hours in observance of Thanksgiving. The medical center remains open every day for emergency, labor and delivery and inpatient care services, however, all other services will be closed Thanksgiving Day.

Primary care appointments Friday

A consolidated Primary Care Clinic will be held in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic (FMRC) at the main hospital from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday. All active-duty Soldiers, Family members and retirees enrolled in the Bennett, Collier, Moore and Troop Medical clinics, as well as Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights and Fort Hood Medical Homes can receive appointments for care at FMRC.

Patient Appointment Service 288-8888 is open from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday. Beneficiaries may also schedule and cancel appointments using TRICARE Online.  Please visit www.tricare.mil  for more information.

Pharmacies

  • Friday: CRDAMC Main Outpatient Pharmacy will be open 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Clear Creek Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Saturday: Clear Creek Pharmacy will open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Sunday: All CRDAMC pharmacies are closed.

All CRDAMC clinics and pharmacies return to normal operating hours Monday, Nov. 27.

TRICARE Prime enrollees with urgent or emergent care needs should seek assistance at the CRDAMC Emergency Department.

Individuals living in the Fort Hood area entitled to military healthcare may talk to registered nurses about urgent health issues, guidance on non-emergency situations, and information about self-care for injuries or illnesses.
