FORT HOOD, TX - Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center is celebrating Patient Appreciation Week Feb. 13-17 with a series of events designed to show appreciation to the area’s 100,000 plus beneficiaries.

Beginning Monday, Feb. 13, community members are invited to check out the CRDAMC Facebook page for live news and information updates from various departments and clinics.

“Coffee with the Commander and Command Sergeant Major” is the Tuesday highlight of the day. Beneficiaries can chat, share comments, or provide other feedback directly to the command team over a cup of coffee in CRDAMC’s dining facility from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. A second event is planned for Thursday, February 16, beginning at 9 a.m.

Also February 14, beneficiaries will have an opportunity to become part of the “100,000 reasons campaign,” by adding a photo to a collage celebrating beneficiaries. The photo collage will be displayed at various events and activities throughout the year.

On February 15 and 16, pediatric dental screenings will be available for children 12 and under. Screenings will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 and from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday, February 16. Children that require additional dental care may qualify for a special on-post pediatric dental program.

The week’s activities wrap up Friday, February 17 with free face painting and health education coloring activities from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
